About Move Fort Mill Forward, Inc.
Move Fort Mill Forward, Inc. is a non-profit organization established in 2004 by community volunteers to help improve the look, feel, and experience of the Fort Mill historic downtown area. Since the beginning of Move Fort Mill Forward (MFMF), and establishment of its initial goals, the face of our town has continued to change, due mainly to the immense growth in the Fort Mill Township.
As change continues in Fort Mill, so does the focus of Move Fort Mill Forward.
At the end of 2007, a merger took place between Move Fort Mill Forward and the Fort Mill Downtown Association.
These two organizations came together, merged talents and goals, and are moving forward a much stronger organization with a broader area of interest. We will continue to maintain a strong focus on our historic downtown, but our overall vision is to create and develop a strong working relationship between our community, retailers, local government, future investors, and the "next workforce generation."
We are located in "The Little Red Caboose" at 101 S White Street, Fort Mill SC.

Meetings
The executive committee meets monthly on the second Tuesday.
The board of directors meets bi-monthly on the second Thursday.
Full membership meetings are held twice each year.
Members are always welcome to attend board meetings as desired.
Committee meetings are announced by the committee chair.

Committees
There are several standing committees as shown under Officers/Board/Committees Page.
Each of the committees will have board member representation. We also want and need our members to be involved in this organization as much as possible. Should you, as a member of Move Fort Mill Forward, have a desire to serve on one or more of these committees, we ask that you please contact a member of the executive committee or the committee chair and let them know of your desire. This is an excellent way to give back to your community, and your time and service is always greatly appreciated.
Membership
All companies and individuals interested in the Fort Mill community can apply for general membership into the organization. Membership dues are specified on the application that can be downloaded here.
On our Membership Page, you can search for a member company by the business name, or by individual's last name, or by business category.
